At first, I was thinking what a strange plot for a movie... the little girl sweetly thought her mission in life was just to help her sister... but then she got a lawyer to get emancipated medically from her parents? I was so confused, until the end... it was a little weird that the movie cut back and forth in time, from near the girl's death to the beginning of her battle with cancer... but eventually at the end of the movie, it all fit together and made sense.
